I chose Queens College because...

not many colleges offer my Classics major. Queens College has many history, English literature, and Classic courses that other colleges did not offer. I get support from my professors and the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Foundation. The one and one talks and help they give me, I don't think I could get anywhere else.

A fun fact about me is...

I was adopted from China before my first birthday.

A few of my life goals are...

I intend to obtain a PhD in Classical studies in order to continue to diversify the field such as having more female representation.

My favorite class at Queens College is...

Classical mythology. We got to learn about the Olympian gods from my favorite books, like Zeus, Hera, Hercules, and more. I get to explore the stories I fell in love with during middle school on a deeper level.
